
Under the patronage of the Prime Minister his excellency dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh, AXSOS Academy today graduated today 11.04.2021 the first Cohort of students within the Youth Coding Program supported by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Empowerment.
Forty-three students from different academic backgrounds and all regions in the West Bank have been trained by placing them in an environment that simulates the work environment and training through practice. The course focused on the programming languages required in the local and global markets, in addition to focusing on developing soft skills to exceed The labor market, the training is carried out by the German company AXSOS AG, which has been working for twelve years in the field of information technology and programming in addition to information security in its branches in Germany, Greece, and Palestine.
The ceremony was opened by Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, who expressed his pride for the graduates and their achievement and he confirmed that this is the first step to achieve the goal of making Palestine an outsourcing destination, as the Academy aims to graduate 6000 thousand students within three years.
His Excellency the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Empowerment, Eng. Osama Saadawi, expressed his content as the ministry is a main partner in the program, and he thanked the Minister of Tele-communication and IT his excellency Isaac Seder for hosting the First Cohort of the program and confirmed that the second session will start within a week at the Palestinian National School for Administration and praised the efforts of AXSOS team in the execution.
His Excellency Musa Abu Zeid, head of the Palestinian Personnel Bureau, stressed the importance of training and expressed his happiness for hosting the second Cohort at the Palestinian National School for Administration.
Mr. Frank Muller, CEO of AXSOS the executing company, joined online and thanked all partners for their efforts in making the training a success, and confirmed the possibility of making Palestine an outsourcing destination if we build the capacity of youth to compete with the quality.
